"The Brothers Karamazov" vs "The Idiot" I really enjoyed "The Idiot" but was wondering which one is "better"?The last thing I want to do is read a different Dostoevsky book and be disappointed. I read "Crime and Punishment" about 15 years ago and enjoyed it also, but can't remember it to well. I feel like "The Idiot" had a bigger impact on me and has kind of stuck with me.

Ravi lobo Both are great novels. I feel BK is better. It being his last novel--kind of a magnum opus. That said The Idiot was Dostoyevsky's favorite. Read in Ignat Avsey's translation. He's the best!
