Maria They are not like that at all. I found the first book really boring and predictable too, but I decided to read the next one bc I was curious, and it was the BEST decision ever. These books have become one of my favorite series. I really encourage you to keep reading. If you do I hope you enjoy it :)
sally!! Oh, no no no no no! The rest of the books get WAY better. Please read on! That part of the plot was kind of totally obvious, but yes, when new challenges and characters are introduced, the story is AMAZING! So go pick up Scarlet right now. Enjoy ;D
kate. Cinder might be my least favorite book in the whole series :) It gets so SO much better!!
eating acid I predicted that from early on too, and having read almost the whole series (I'm on Winter now) they definitely get better. The themes are more complex, there's more interesting characters and settings, I started to fall in love with the series in Cress.

It's gets less predictable farther in. For me, I was completely off-guard with the plot-twist in Scarlet, but I predicted it again in Cress. I don't know if they'll have one in Winter but they're still super good as you get farther on, so I'd recommend continuing with the series.
