The book is much more in depth and the movie is a good tie-in. Some movie adaptations I don't like because they stray too much from the book. The movie adaptation of this book does change a few things just for timing's sake but for the most part is very faithful. Whichever medium you start one, you won't be disappointed by the other.(less)
