What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Chris Manion What I love best about being a writer is the freedom to use my God-given talents to play with words the way painters play with paint, singers and musicians play with notes, and bakers play with dough. It's a wild and lush landscape to explore, with endless paths to walk and views to ponder. When I collect enough gorgeous branches, flowers, and stems of interesting leaves, I get to present a bouquet to my readers. It doesn't get much better than that.
