So sorry. Just saw this email. OMG 2 years later! Benigno is my stepfather's last name. I changed my last name to his when I was 19. I doubt that you are related to him though. His brother is still alive and I know he would agree. Maybe there is a distant relationship. Who knows?
As for writing a non fiction book, I am not there yet. My third novel should be out in the fall--The Criminal Mind. Hope you enjoy it.
