The prescription for the problem of the opioid epidemic is applicable to both groups: escape your self-defeating culture and pull yourself up by your own bootstraps. Of course this is unpopular politically but it places the onus for solving issues on the person rather than unproductively falling into the culture of victimhood.(less)
