What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Amy Butcher I encourage everyone to try National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Their motto of "quantity of quality" really holds true and the experience was liberating. I learned that I can write and create, even as the voice inside my head is screaming, "this is complete and utter trash!". Learning to keep going, even with that background noise, it a critical skill for any creator.
