I bought the 3 in the one and I do not regret it. It makes it so much easier to read and I can quickly go from one book to the other while also having more shelf space.

I preferred it as all in one only because I'm the kind of person that needs to read an entire series in one shot. I can not pick up another book while being in the middle of a series. However, it really just depends on your preference. I do recommend reading them in order and if you take a break it may be a good idea to reread the book(s) you have already read just to refresh your memory because they do build off each other.
