A Goodreads user asked James Rozoff:

I've read two of your stories from "End of the Road" and found them very insightful and thought-provoking (esp. the one about Brandon Kratz). I see on your profile you've written several books. Which one would you recommend to me (based on the books I've read)?

James Rozoff Thank you for expressing interest. I see Seven Stones as the book that will be the entry way into the world I am creating. It is the beginning of my second series, which actually takes place in history before my first series, a sort of but not really prequel to The Amazing Morse series. I try to make all my books complete stories of their own so you can pick any of them up without having to commit yourself to something that may never end (I have a definite end in mind, but I see a lot of writers willing to continue a series for as long as readers are willing to pay for the next installment. Seven Stones has a sequel, but it also has a firm ending, not a setup for the next book) . So while I love all of them and find each of them special in its own way, I have made the conscious decision to make Seven Stones the wide door through which readers are most likely to pass :)
