Okay this is really weird that they are listing Elizabeth Lim as the author of this book, since we all know that Liz Braswell is the author of the Twisted Tales series, besides if the information here was correct and Mulan was the next story to be reimagined for the series I'm pretty sure Liz would have told her fans via facebook, twitter, or instagram. So should I believe the info that goodreads has here?

It's not weird because Disney is the one in charge of these books. It's their intellectual property, not the author's. This series was not Braswell's brainchild or idea. They commissioned Braswell to write the first three and now they've commissioned Lim to write this one. Personally, I appreciate that they have an Asian author writing this tale.

Liz Braswell wrote the rest of this series, but Disney got Elizabeth Lim to write this book so it would be an ownvoices depiction of Chinese culture and mythology

Liz is still writing for the series, but it helps to have another voice every now and then. She will be returning later this year with "Part Of Your World", which will be a twist on the tale of the Little Mermaid.
