I am curious--I'd like to know the differences in understanding, liking, and evaluating this book among people who have been in similar situations vs. those who have not. Is there any way to get this info from GoodReads?

I almost didn't read it after I read the reviews, I'm soooooooo glad I did. Not that the exact thing has happened to me in my life, however, you don't live a life for a number of decades and without being able to relate to this book, especially as a woman. I found her story to be inspiring, honest, insightful and moving. I could relate to the feelings of urgency upon finding out your life ain't what you thought it was. I joke with friends and family that I'm writing a book titled ~The Relationship You Are Having Is Better In Your Head~. Simply put, I'm glad I read this book, and with all things, perspective is EVERYTHING!(less)
