Kathleen Nightingale
Kathleen Nightingale asked Fiona Davis:

Fiona I have found that you, along with other authors, mark all your books as being amazing. I realize as an author that writing is like giving birth to a baby and a huge amount of time and effort goes into writing a book. I'm wondering how you are able to choose so many five star books? I totally understand if you do not answer this question and I certainly do not wish to put you into a compromising position.

Fiona Davis Hi Kathleen - thank you so much for your question, it's a good one. I read a lot, and tend to list the books I've adored on Goodreads with five stars. If there's something that just didn't work for me, I most likely won't list it. And you're absolutely right, that writing and editing a book is a huge project, but different books appeal to different people. I love the idea of recommending books that have blown me away, in the hopes that readers who've enjoyed my books and have similar tastes will discover them as well. Best, F.
