Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Angelica R. Jackson My take on Faerie and the Fae was inspired by Celtic mythology, but the setting of the town of Crow's Rest is an amalgamation of several towns in California's Gold Country. I love living in this area, with all the ways that historical and modern times collide--the perfect place to set a story about Faerie and our world colliding! There is also a real-life California castle called Preston Castle in Ione, which inspired the Warren Castle that appears in Crow's Rest.
