Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sarah E. Burr I'm writing two books right now - the forth Ducal Detective book actually was inspired at the conclusion of writing the first book. A friend of mine went "what if" and I knew I had to revisit old relationships and dig deeper into the Duchess's past to show a well-rounded character. As for the new project I'm working on, I've been inspired by so many authors in the "cozy mystery" genre of late, where you have a woman who has an interesting/odd job in her community and she gets involved with a mystery. I wanted to create a contemporary hero and these types of books really inspired me, especially the work of Denise Swanson.
