I've never read anything of Moore's, but have heard mixed responses to her theology in general. The worst of these has caused me to wince when my wife mentions picking up something of Moore's. Based on your opinion of this book, is my discomfort warranted???

I used to love Beth Moore...And I feel her writing and book studies have served their purposes for my spiritual growth. I am going in another direction lately with my reading, namely apologetics, so I find that her writings do not interest me as they once did. I have seen very positive comments as well as the opposite, but I would suggest that if your wife is finding her relationship with God growing and she is still very much reading God's Word in addition to any book, she may just be in a different spot than you in her walk with our King. All that to say this: I have not found Beth Moore to be theologically unsound.
