In the horrible rape/murder scene in the book, while she's being raped Merrin talks about that she got away, she climbed the tree and that things are OK, she mentions Ig's name. Lee doesn't understand what she's talking about and upon finishing the book i don't either. It's the last open end i have from this book. Is there some sort of an supernatrual thing involved? This bothers me a bit. Thanks in advance!
