Victoria Laurie
There are these moments when I'll go back and edit a manuscript that I haven't seen in a little while, and while I'm reading it I'll forget that I'm supposed to be editing, and instead I'll get totally caught up in the story, and then, there'll be a line that I'll forget I've written, and invariably it's something funny and I'll just start laughing, and for just a moment, for this magical split second it's a bit like I've just come across this marvelous writer that I really enjoy and I'll realize that the writer is really me, and it's THE most incredible feeling to know that you've written something that you yourself actually enjoy. It's just so satisfying, because I'm typically very critical of my writing, and when something like that can take me by surprise, well...it's like a gift.

I'm only about half way through the Abby Cooper series, but I'm really enjoying it. Thank you for writing it. I have to wonder if Abby will ever encounter an anti-psychic? Either a person or a thing that counters her abilities? It would be fun to see her have to rely on her other abilities and friends in the absence of her super-power. To see her be special even without her special ability.
