This may just be me but at the end of "All Necessary Force", I felt the story sort of ended abruptly. I started reading the third book thinking that you would refer back to the altercation between Jennifer and Chase but there was none. I thought that you would have added a little more since Jennifer had some new "skills". Is this incident referenced in any of the books and am I the only one to point this out?
Brad Taylor
Sorry you feel that way. I actually thought the ending was drawn out, with Pike's flight home, Jennifer cleaning, etc, etc. I didn't think the fight needed to be on the page, and still think it ends right where it needs to. The importance is between Pike and Jennifer, not the fight, and that was encapsulated. If you must be gratified, though, it is detailed in the short story Gut Instinct.

I'm on book 4 now, and I love your writing! I am sorry for the loss of Taz. People like you, Taz, and others like you are irreplaceable and we need more like you. Thank you for all you do. Outside of the people you know and served with as inspiration, which actors could you see playing the parts of Decoy, Knuckles, Blood, Jennifer, Retro, Kurt, and Pike based only on looks? Sorry if you've been asked already.

I tend to read Authors and series rather than jump around haphazardly especially with a series. I.M.H.O., Ghosts of War (Pike Logan, #10) was your best book to date, this one I gave a 5. The story line, plot, characters, and technology were strong as, Clancy and Silva, with an added touch of the supernatural found in all the John Connolly (my favorite authors) books. You nailed it?
