Hi folks, If you have questions or thoughts about The Assertiveness Workbook, please let me know. I check Goodreads and answer questions as soon as possible. I just noticed, though, that I missed answering a question for my other book, How to be Miserable, for quite some time. I'm hard at work on a new book and some online courses, but will try to be more regular catching up here. So, any questions?

Hi Randy, Thanks for being available. We are reading your book in a self-development bookclub! We are all international, and some of us have been assertive but lost it in the process of adapting it to the new culture in USA. I haven't seen a part that adresses how to be assertive when we don't know the culture of a society. We might have read about it but it is more about having different set of emotional intelligence. Another issue is ppl who are the first in something more social like first time PhDs. They have stepped out of their comfort zone. In both situation, coming abroad or doing something without having a life-time mentor, we become passive as a lot of the things that we say and do is not what is expected approach?

Hey Randy, you're the man. Thanks for writing that fine piece of very helpful info. Do you have any recommendations to learn more about reinforcing healthy beliefs especially regarding self-esteem?
