It was more like a strut, bahahahaha Honestly, he just sort of pounced. It all started out as a joke, and then I decided I wanted this arrogant, kinda mean, alpha-hole Hero, only FOR REAL, like that's just who he is. No apologies, no changing - if my heroine was gonna fall in love with a jerk, than I wanted him to always be that jerk she fell in love with.
Then he just sort of took over my brain and sprang to life and ran away with himself. He is my easiest character for me to write, he comes the most naturally to me, I identify with him the most. But really, he just appeared, almost out of nowhere. I had written three other romances (very contemporary, NA, normal) before Degradation when he just sort of kicked down a door in my brain and demanded to be written down.

I could gush over your books to the point of being obnoxious:) I have loved the series from the first book. I am looking forward to many, many more books from you. My question is: is Jameson based on a real man? If yes, then what does the real man look like? when you first started thinking about writing those books, what was the first scene, or the character that were first born in your head or on your computer?

I am sorry this is not a question but I had to say this: "My Time in the Affair" turned out to be one of the best books I have read in all my life - and I am not that young, I am 50! This book just blew me away. It will stay with me forever. I read it literally non-stop. It deserves a lot of credit because such a sensitive subject is told in such a skillful way that I felt for each character. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!?
