Hi! I loved When Dimple Met Rishi, it's one of my all time favorites! I just wanted to ask, was there a character you liked best or related to a lot in the book?

I definitely related to parts of Dimple and parts of Rishi the most! Like Dimple, I've always been a fierce feminist with sometimes clashing views of culture and ambition when compared to others in my extended family. And like Rishi, I struggled a lot with whether my art was a viable and valid career choice. :)

Hi, I'ma soon-to-be sophomore in high school, and since you are one of my fave authors and since I love your books and how interesting they are, I want to ask you: How can I write a not boring (historical fiction) book? Because I want to write an interesting novel about the revolution/uprising/crisis/how unfair the militia is being in (north) Sudan, and I want many people in the United States to know about it.
