Goodreads asked Marsha Sinetar:

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Marsha Sinetar I would beat a path to John le Carre's world of spies. As soon as I arrived, I'd seek out my favorite le Carre character, George Smiley, who I suspect is a natural "casual contemplative" as am I. Fantasy suggest we two would hit it off, agree to have an espresso together, and walk over to a local, unassuming bistro for coffee. Whereupon we'd sit in amiable silence, enjoying the brew and the quiet.

Such was the climate, it is said, between the late Pope John Paul II, and Mother Teresa. They were friends. They admired each other. When Mother Teresa would visit the Pope, they'd stroll together around the grounds of the Vatican and do so in silence, each contemplating private thoughts, while enjoying that quiet that only exists between those who are truly at ease with each other, like old married couples and old friends who don't need to chit chat about superficials. Of all my friends, the ones I enjoy and love most are the ones with whom I can just be. Thanks for the question, so lovely to consider. MS
