I'm currently reading Prince of Fools (I'm pretty much behind, I know, sorry), and I am that point where Snorri and Jalan arrive to Taproot's circus (thanks for bringing them back). So he sends Snorri to Varga, and that's where I started to think. Is there any chance you didn't pick this name accidentally? See, I'm hungarian, and varga is and old word for someone who works with leather and makes shoes. Curious.

Mark Lawrence I'll avoid the temptation to pretend I knew that and made some clever word-play. The truth is that it's entirely coincidental.

What advice could you give to an aspiring writer like myself? Does prose come along eventually, as I practice writing or as I read, depending as well on what kinds of stories I read? How do I create a good story? How do I create a good narrator? Does cutting the excess use of adverbs and adjectives do the trick or could I do more than that?
