Hi Jonathan, Will you write and publish more books in the Autumn's Fall Saga series? I am so very curious how the story goes on :) //Connie

Hey Connie,
Thanks for your question.
The short answer is: Absolutely, yes!
The long answer is: I worked on the third AF book (Lambkiller) through most of 2016. I had some difficulties with it; it just wasn't the book I wanted it to be. So, I took a break from it in 2017. When The Grey Bastards was sold to Crown/Random House in March, things got complicated. I am under contract for a second GB book (which I will finish by Nov. 1st). After that, I hope to get back to AF, but I may need to write a third GB book first if things go well with the other two. I certainly feel like I've been away from Airlann for too long and don't want fans of the series to think I've abandoned it. It's the series closest to my heart, despite the Bastards gaining more traction in the market. It has always been the plan for AF to be 6-8 books, and that will happen one way or another.
I can tell you I have exciting plans for AF 3 when it finally launches to reward fans for being so patient.
Thank you for supporting the series . I am glad you are curious to see what happens. Me too! ;)

What alchemy in your mind caused you to decide that hogs would be actual.....hogs? I think that this is one of the most inspired ideas I have read in a long time. I'm curious if this idea was central to the story creation, or if it was a secondary analysis as you built the characters.

Not a question, but rather a comment. I'm an Army retiree living in Tallahassee, FL and recently bought a German translation of the " The Grey Bastards" (Die Grauen Bastarde) while traveling through my mom's hometown of Heidelberg, Germany. Not previously familiar with either your name or your work, I bought it on a lark to force myself to practice my German comprehension. I ended up loving it. German or English?

Hi Jonaghan, I read your Autumn's fall series after starting your 'Lot Lands' series. I saw on your website that you're currently focusing on the latter for now. Will you pick up the former after you finish the trilogy? I really enjoyed the first two books in the series and hope it will continue soon. Thanks,
