Hey Michael! Would it be possible to make the The Disappearance of Winter's Daughter audiobook available for preorder through Audible.de as well? Audible has this nasty habit of only showing German folks like me the new, non-German releases on launch day. Since preorders do help a good deal, I'd like to spend my credit as far ahead in advance as possible.

Hey there. You know, I have no idea how that works or if it's possible. But I do know who can help me out with that and sent them an email. Once I get a response back from them, I'll update this "answer."
Thanks for letting me know.
EDIT: Okay, so I got the answer back, and unfortunately there's not anything we can do. Here's the official word from the folks at Audible.com:
"Ok, an answer on this one for you, though not a great one: apparently, the US, UK, and AU stores are currently the only ones that support preorders for US content. Sorry, but at least now we know!"

Greetings Mr. Sullivan! Love your work, FYI, but am curious, if not too personal of a question... what was your day job before becoming a full time author? And do you find yourself writing a lot more now that you are full time, or do you spend a similar amount of time working on your books?

If the Riyria books are made into a TV series, if given the choice, would you prefer that you: A) are the main screenwriter yourself and write or co-write all the episodes, and thus make sure your books are adapted on screen the best way they can be (but it's very time-consuming), or B) let someone else adapt your source material for TV, much like Benioff and Weiss are doing it with GRRM's books for "Game of Thrones"?
