If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Marguerite Martin Gray Great question! I love to travel and I go as often as I can to faraway places. I've been to England many times, always reveling in walking in the footprints of the characters I've read about in a variety of novels. So, put me in Jane Austen's world where I would be a member of a middle class family on the edge of the upper crust, just like many of her characters. I would like to have access to a multitude of books and be a teacher of sorts if I couldn't be a continuous student. Although tempted, I'd not want to go any farther back because of the lack of plumbing and basic sanitation issues. But England or France for sure.
