How do I understand the language in Pride and Prejudice? I'm 13 and we haven't studied it in school but I would like to read it for fun but I can't understand even the first page! Can someone please help me out!

B…moreAs with most classic books, the writing style takes some getting used to because we are not used to it. I'm 27 and even I have some trouble with it. But, as with other classics, I just persevere and at about the middle of the book I begin to understand the writing and it's a piece of cake from there. I am sure that, by the end, I will be glade that I stuck through it. (less)
