How do I understand the language in Pride and Prejudice? I'm 13 and we haven't studied it in school but I would like to read it for fun but I can't understand even the first page! Can someone please help me out!

I laughed when my husband brought it home for me from the library, but the annotations helped a lot. Maybe you can find an annotated copy at your library. The only drawback was that several of the annotations contained spoilers, but not to the biggest events of the book, so to me it was worth it.(less)
