How do I understand the language in Pride and Prejudice? I'm 13 and we haven't studied it in school but I would like to read it for fun but I can't understand even the first page! Can someone please help me out!

But just in case you have not, let me tell you that even a 60+ year old has found the language style challenging. I am determined to reading it however and I'm currently finishing it by reading it as I listen along on a CD. The reader is quite entertaining and if I miss something, I pause the CD and re-read the section. Good luck--it is a good book.
