How do I understand the language in Pride and Prejudice? I'm 13 and we haven't studied it in school but I would like to read it for fun but I can't understand even the first page! Can someone please help me out!

Even though the writing may see…moreI look up unfamiliar words as I go and pause to think about what is going on. Often I have to re-read a few sentences. Even though the writing may seem archaic, I sometimes think the way they formed their sentences made more sense and was easier to understand! It definitely takes some effort, but it is worth it. I think it gets easier to understand as you go.
