If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

I'm really torn among three worlds:
1. I would love to attend a ball in the days of Jane Austen, wearing a ruffled and flounced ball gown;
2. Because of the research I did into my wartime novel Bird's Eye View, I yearn to don an air force uniform and experience the comradeship of fighting a common enemy;
3. I'm currently immersed in pioneer history because of my new novel Wildwood, and long to face the challenge of settling in a new country.

"Bird's Eye View" is now on my list. My own "The 5K Zone," has a Sudetenland backdrop, mostly post WWII Czechoslovakia/West Germany. There are a wealth of German expulsion personal accounts on the internet. Are you familiar with the Sudetenland crisis? Peter and Trudi live it and escape from it.

Dear Elinor Florence, Thank you for being my friend! I accidently deleted my account and had to start again, but still received your Book --Bird's Eye View--through the giveaway. Wonderful cover. While writing the story, did you feel yourself living in that moment--that time and space? Sometimes reading takes my senses to the story's place, and I feel a connection. And, I don't want to leave it.
