Goodreads asked Tinnean:

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?

Tinnean In the normal course of events, I'd say Georgette Heyer's Regency, but frankly, I'm too old to use an outhouse or a chamber pot, and I can't deal with the cold (which is why I moved to Florida) while wearing muslin.

And although the Arizona or New Mexico of Louis L'Amour's west isn't as cold as the winter the Thames froze, there's still the lack of indoor plumbing.

My first thought was in any of Edgar Rice Burroughs's universes: Barsoom, West Africa, Pellucidar, Venus, or the Moon, but there's just too much action going on. (see previous comment about age.)

So I guess if it comes to that, I'd prefer to live in Dean Koontz's world of Watchers, after The Other has been defeated, of course. I'd love a dog like Einstein. :-)
