What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Jen Klein My answer is the same for both parts of my writing life -- screenwriting and being an author -- it's the people. Hands down. At my TV job, I get to hang out with the most fun, creative, brilliant people every day. And because of books, I'm now friends with this huge community of local YA authors, all of whom are supportive and generous and lovely. Throw voracious readers and passionate viewers into that mix and there's just no other answer. The best part of being a writer is the people.
