Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Bryan Alexander From my work, actually.
I'm a futurist specializing in higher education. This means I travel, speak, consult, write, present, and make media about where colleges and universities could be going. This, in turn, means I not only conduct a giant amount of research, but also share it with people who when react to those ideas. So I've been involved in a continuous, sprawling conversation with thousands of people.
It's just built up to the point now where I need to get it out, and down.
