Thanks for answering my question. The Manny is the first book in the series that I tried, so my perception of his character may not be clear. Being unaware of the other books in the series, I was just curious?

Susan Ward I'm glad to answer. I actually enjoy the diverse reactions readers have toward my characters. I do realize in advance that if someone isn't reading the entire Saga they might form entirely different reactions to the later characters introduced, than say, someone who has read all thirty books. And my writing is by design always true to the characters and thereby providing a different reader experienced based on where in the Parker Saga they start reading. It makes the collection sort of interactive, like a video game, pick storyline A over storyline B to start with, and the experience is different. At least, that's what I'm hoping for. Thank you again for your question.
