Faust is my second favorite, right after Dresden. While I agree with Caitlin that he is more a knight in tarnished armor, I wouldn't say he has crossed that line that would lead to total damnation. He wouldn't kill for fun or the innocent. Is there a greater unforgivable crime lurking in his past? PS - I reread the series before Glass Predator and it was worth it just to get the George Clooney/Iceberg joke!

Hey, thanks so much! Well, bear in mind that standards for damnation in this universe are far, far lower than people might think. On the other hand, hell isn't necessarily all that terrible, depending on who you are and who you know. It's complicated. We'll be delving into that...two books from now, I think, if my series outline holds up. As far as Faust's past goes, some of that is coming back to haunt him in Neon Boneyard, so you'll be learning more about that soon. (And I'm so glad somebody caught the Clooney callback. :) )

I went to the page to sign up for your newsletter, but there was no link to do so. I am following on Amazon and Goodreads, but would love to get the newsletter, too. Will that be fixed? Can't wait for the next installments with Harmony Black and Daniel Faust, just finished The Locust Job, fabulous!
