Hi Elizabeth! First of all I love your novels. I read Better off Friends and Prom and Prejudice years ago. I just finished Take a Bow and related the the theater/the arts aspects of the story. I noticed on your bio that you are from Wisconsin. Other than having some of your stories take place in that lovely state (also where I am from) how did the experience affect your stories?

Hi Katie! (And Go Pack!) The YA that I've been working on right now also takes place in Wisconsin, so I do love it there! I think where you grow up has a lot of impact on who you are, so writing stories that take place in Wisconsin feels natural to me. I do think that there's something about Wisconsin that makes people from there talk about it. A LOT. (I just had some Wisconsin friends over yesterday, all whom I met at a Packer bar in NYC!) My teen years were spent in a small town in Wisconsin, so when I have to go back to that time to write my books, it just steeps in. Although my mom is convinced that my success is from my Midwestern work ethic, so there's that... Can't argue with Mom. ;)

Hi Elizabeth! I love your books!! I know you probably won't do this... But, can you right more for Better off Friends, and Take a Bow? There my favorite out of all of your books! I just mean, maybe on your website a long epilogue. I understand if you don't want to or if you don't have the time. You're an amazing author! I love your writing, it's majestically amazing! Thank you for taking the time to read this!
