Yes - my first 3 books involved an inquisitive Bristol (UK) lawyer called Alastair Duncan. They were published by Robert Hale Ltd of London and had to be written to a shorter length than I prefer but nevertheless have sold well for some 30 years and are being published as eBooks by Endeavour Press of London in 2017
