I loved your One Last Wish: Three Novels. You wrote about cancer In Mother, Help Me Live. Did you ever experience something like that?

Lurlene McDaniel I am a breast cancer survivor (21 yrs!), but I wrote these books to showcase the illness in children/teens. I attended camps, visited hospitals and met many kids afflicted with cancer. I found these victims brave, smart, loving, and firece fighters against the disease. I loved their spunk and joy of life. They were all winners to me. Some died too young, but some have let me know they are suvivors. I LOVE hearing that!
