Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Blair Bancroft After writing five Regency Gothics and three of a four-book SyFy series in the last few years, I felt the urge to write a Regency Historical in the style of my ever-popular first book, TARLETON'S WIFE. Except this time, I would add humor to the drama, borrowing that aspect from my many traditional Regencies. So . . . Book 5 of my Regency Warrior series, THE LADY TAKES A RISK, was born. It's a "dramedy." Drama with a good dollop of fun thrown in for good measure.
