Goodreads asked Evan Minton:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Evan Minton Usually, I just wait and let things come to me. I usually don't churn out good material when I try to force it. Pretty much all of my best stuff just comes to me. Regarding blog posts, sometimes I'll see something online or hear something on TV, or maybe even read something in The Bible and that will give me something to write about. Sometimes if I'm doing deep philosophical reflection on a subject, that will give me an idea for a post. Most of this reflection on various theological and philosophical subjects happen when I'm in the shower or walking my dog, or doing household chores. In fact, the idea for my book Inference To The One True God struck me while I was doing the dishes!

So to make a long answer show, my advice would be to not force yourself to churn something out. Go for a walk, read some books, take a shower, watch some documentaries on TV. Inspiration will strike in time.
