I don't understand the ending. The book leaves you up in the air as to what happens with Ari Thor and his love life. Does he move away from Kristin who now seems to want him? Or does he move ahead with Ulga? The book leaves you completely confused about this . Can someone help.

Kristin moves to be closer to him, in a nearby town, and he breaks up with her, goes off with Ugla, but it doesn't work out. in the beginning of the next book, he then wants Kristin back.
this guy needs to be a little more open in his relationships with expressing himself!(less)
