I was wondering if, in your youth, you imagined the path your life was going to take or was your journey more spontaneous and unplanned? Be well, Karl PS: Thank you for sharing your talents as an actor - you brought a great deal of joy to people's lives (my grandmother & I enjoyed watching it together when I was growing up).

Jameson Parker I think most people have an imagined path, and perhaps some are fortunate or unfortunate enough to stay on that route, but like so many others, my projected path took turnings no one could have expected, least of all me. I like to believe my life has been charmed, and that is the impression I like to give to other people, but the fact is that some of the turns on my life's journey were caused by terrible things: violent death, personal violence, suicide, betrayal, accident, crippling injury. All of us face issues in our lives, and we all deal with them as best we can, but looking back I honestly cannot imagine not having had my life thrust into unplanned and unanticipated directions. Perhaps some other, more forceful and determined type, might have stayed his chosen course under similar circumstances, but I couldn't, and I didn't.
Thank you for the kind words about the show. I had a lot of fun doing it for eight years.
