Bea
Bea asked Maria V. Snyder:

I think there is an error in your Poison Study (Study, #1) located in the second paragraph. I didn't understand the last sentence! *GoodReads won't let me ask this unless there is a question mark located in the text. Here you go. ???

Maria V. Snyder Sorry to hear you're having a problem. It all depends on what edition you're reading as Poison Study has been published in over 24 countries and if you're reading the digital edition, it may be a formatting error. But the second paragraph is "The fire had pulled away just before blistering my skin, but my eyebrows and eyelashes had long since been singed off." It means the fire had already burned off her eyebrows and eyelashes, but hasn't burnt her skin yet. Wow - pulling out this one sentences makes this seem like a horror novel! It isn't - just showing how bad the villain is!
