Hello Terri! I bought Beyond the Gate back in 2014 and listened to the audiobook. It's such a fantastic story and loved it. Recently I've been going through my shelf and found it again. Remembering the great time I had with it, I decided to look you up. My question is: Are your other fantasy books in the same universe as BtG? Because I would love to read more about that world. Good morning, Hector. Thank you! So glad you liked Beyond the Gate. It's always nice to hear. Both Finder, and A Time Never Lived take place in the same world, but in a different part of it. Consider BtG's archipelago Australia, and Finder/ATNL's Therk, Africa. Same world, a little overlap in worldbuilding.
I have to be honest, while I love BtG, the other two are better. Both Finder and A Time Never Lived are available on Kindle for only $2.99 at the moment. I belong to a library book club and the librarian that runs the book club asked for suggestions for possible book club selections and I suggested your book, The Bar Harbor Retirement Home for Writers. You may borrow my name, please send me a copy of your book, if you do. I will check out the movie, is the movie available on DVD ? My parents almost bought a home in Longhome, New Jersey, my mother said no, because my parental grandmother could drive to Longhome, from her home in Pennsylvania.
