Absolutely LOVE all three of your books (just read an ARC of your third book)! I think what I love most of all is that your pride in being Chinese comes through. My husband is an ABC - Cantonese (Taishanese) who grew up in a non-Asian community. So learning about the culture for our daughter is important! Any suggestions for books, authors, or resources to learn more about the culture? Thank you!!

Jamie Ford Thanks Dorothea!

One book I read a long time ago that was fun and informative was GOOD LUCK LIFE by Rosemary Gong--a book about Chinese American traditions. And On Gold Mountain by Lisa See is a fantastic book about her family their journey as they weave their way into the tapestry of America. The Chinese in America by Iris Chang is a similar book. Also, Fresh Off the Boat by Eddie Huang is hilarious (and very R-rated compared to the TV show).

Give my best to your family!
