Teen asked K. Bromberg:

You write with such sensitivity on difficult subjects and are able to describe the challenges in a way that readers walk away with a clear understanding, at least I do. This was no less true in The Catch, which I won't spoil. I was wondering if this sensitivity on the various human/emotional challenges is derived from just research and your ability to articulate so well or personal passions?

K. Bromberg I don't have experience with the 'real' issues that I write nor do I research much unless it's technical terms. . . I kind of put myself in the character's shoes and ask myself how they would feel. I think the connection comes from readers -feeling- what the character feels and so I try to focus on that... If I ever question things, I do research but for the most part, I rely on my instinct, intuition, and things I've learned in the past on the subject.
