Dear John I want to ask you about the Sirak. What are their story? They seem kinda cool but we don't see them much .Also there seem to be some mysteries about Kastell's past that we don't know and that away bother me

Hi Khang,
It's great to hear from you. I'm glad that you liked the Sirak in the Faithful and the Fallen. Originally I intended for them to be more involved in the story, but as I wrote the novels following on from Malice events in Arcona didn't fit organically into the story. I was disappointed not to use them more, as their nomadic horse culture is fun and interesting, so I hope that you will be pleased to hear that the Sirak play a major part in my new series, Of Blood and Bone, which is set in the Banished Lands, taking place 130 years after the events of Wrath. Book 1, A Time of Dread, is written and due for publication in January 2018. It contains a major Point of View from a Sirak warrior, so I can assure you that they will be far more involved in the new series.
I hope that helps.
Best,
John

Dear Sir: I just read an interview you did with "quilltolive" and saw your description of your central character in your next series: "a winged berserker named Rae." I just have to know: is this character female? (Because I would LOVE to read about a heroine like this.)

Saw the news today about the new series and my first thoughts were ‘oooh I wonder what they’ll look like?’. This led me to wonder how much of an input you have in that side of things? Do you give ideas/directions for cover art etc? If yes, do you already have ideas for the new ones or does that come a lot later? Thanks, and congratulations on the new deal!
