Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tracey Langford My book KATIE'S CHOICE actually started out as a song my husband and I wrote called "Her Name Is Katie." I literally wrote the lyrics in about thirty minutes. I was listening to a really sweet song about a young girl who had given her baby up for adoption. With tears rolling down my face, I couldn't help thinking about all the girls out there who didn't have a sweet, happy ending to their story of an unplanned pregnancy. So, I wrote the song lyrics, and my husband Jon put music to them. Several years later, I decided to turn the song into a story, and I wrote KATIE'S CHOICE.
