I agree about Amelia Island! We just went there three weeks ago, before I read the book, and after reading it, I couldn't believe it! I told my husband, this absolutely has to be based on Amelia Island. Too many similarities. It was fun to picture the the plot taking place there.

Amelia Island, Florida is very much like Camino Island. Coincidence?? I think not, since Grisham has a compound here. Enjoyed seeing the familiar places in Camino Island.
